Live Blue Crabs from the sounds of North Carolina. These Live Blue Crabs are harvested from late Spring through Summer in the Albemarle and Pamlico Sounds. A favorite for seafood cook outs throughout North Carolina. The experience of picking the crab meat surrounded by friends is only outdone by the delicious, succulent flavor of the crab meat.
Steaming the crabs is the preferred cooking method as it kills them quickly while locking in the juicy, sweet crab meat.
Make sure to bring a hard cooler for transport as these crabs are lively and will pinch (ouch!).
